Turn on Keyboard navigation (Mac: System Settings ▸ Keyboard) or Full Keyboard Access (iPad: Settings ▸ Accessibility ▸ Keyboards). Then Tab moves from button to button in the panels and menus, a blue ring shows where you are, and Space presses the button. Esc closes the panel at the bottom, one per press.
